Land of Rivers

A hack/setting for Luke Gearing's Violence. Features tag-based character creation with the option to fully randomize your character, quick risk resolution rules outside of combat, and brutal rules for killing people. Some light rules for advancement and a setting appropriate equipment list are also present.

Setting information is light, allowing you and your group to decide what "cowboy samurai" means. If all that legwork sounds like too much work, I don't blame you. I plan on expanding upon the "default setting" in the future with tables and lore.

Right now, you're getting a snappy, vicious little game that might be missing a few parts.

Possible future additions:

• A little bit more pizzaz for character creation
• An expanded "default setting"
• Magic?
